Professional Development

Wellspring is committed to continuous learning for our staff. We offer an Internet-based staff training and development program to help you achieve your ongoing training and continuing education unit (CEU) requirements.

Learning Management System: We have a robust and comprehensive learning management system available to all employees. It is developed by an industry leader in the wonderful world of learning and is customizable for individual career paths. Whether for CEUs or to grow in a current position, our learning management system will become a valuable resource to you.

CEU and Staff Development: Continuing education units are a requirement for many of our positions at Wellspring. With some organizations, employees have to find outside training, but we are thankful to offer an in-house learning management system that will help you meet those requirements. We also offer staff development on site and at our Bonnie Hess Center for Excellence.

Tuition Reimbursement: Another way we promote ongoing education is through our tuition reimbursement program. Career growth is something we celebrate at Wellspring, and we look forward to speaking with you about how we might help you reach your personal and professional goals. Meet Jennifer Kline, LPN

Director of Resident Care

Being a nurse and working with/helping others is important to me. In this role, I am able to help others by making sure their care is properly coordinated, as well as coach my team to success of achieving the goals of the department.

I believe in Wellspring’s mission and I feel blessed to be able to serve our residents (and families) with a person-centered approach through God’s work. Wellspring gives hope to many people, and I am proud to be part of that.

I started with Wellspring in November 2013 as a part-time floor nurse in Frankenmuth’s long-term care facility. From there, I transferred to the Senior Living Campus in Saginaw. I served as the AFC manager for memory support. A few months ago, I was promoted to the campus’ director of resident care.

Financial Reporting Director

I’m responsible for ensuring that our financial results are produced with accuracy and in a timely manner. When I was looking for a new opportunity to enhance my career, I wanted to work for an organization that made a difference in the lives of people. It took me some time to actually apply to the position because I wanted to know more about Wellspring. When I learned that Wellspring was all about changed lives, strong families, and transformed communities, I knew I had found exactly what I was seeking.

I have been with Wellspring since March 2017. In May, I was offered a promotion. I’m still overseeing financial reporting but now I also oversee accounting operations which includes accounts receivable, payables, and payroll.

I’m very grateful for the opportunities that I have received in such a short time. It’s a blessing to work for an organization that supports you and your professional goals.
