A Winning Team

Wellspring Lutheran Services is one of Michigan’s oldest statewide nonprofits. We’ve reached this status by making sure the team that leads the organization is the best it can be.

DAVE GEHM

President & CEO

“Serving at Wellspring allows me to use my passion for God’s people with my desire to serve.  Every day at Wellspring I see evidence of people’s lives being changed, and hope growing in them, because of our work.  I feel privileged to be a part of that mission. Wellspring is a unique ministry that seeks to impact individuals, families and whole communities, which makes this mission as difficult as it is inspiring.  Having been at Wellspring for over 27 years, I have witnessed the services and programs of Wellspring grow, develop and change based on the changing needs of God’s people, and I know that will continue as we seek to serve our communities.”

“It’s an honor to lead our organization in our financial goals and processes, and to have input into providing the highest level of integrity in doing so. Providing services and support to the vulnerable of our society by working at Wellspring, especially as a financial professional, is an awesome way for me to serve and live out my passion of sanctity of life.”

“Wellspring encourages my Christian faith in my work with people. During my tenure with the organization, I have served in a variety of different roles.  Each position has enabled me to serve others by encouraging their growth in faith, in personal coping and in profession. I look forward to where God may lead me on this Wellspring journey.”

JILL HAISER

JILL HAISER

Vice President, Mission Advancement & Executive Director, Wellspring Lutheran Foundation

“For me, the mission of Wellspring is so deeply rooted into my heart that I can't help but share our mission with everyone I meet. Each day, I am humbled to see lives transformed through the hope they find at Wellspring. The work we do is difficult. We often meet people on the worst day of their lives. Whether their kids were just removed from their home, their family is in crisis, they are overwhelmed by caregiving or they are facing the decision of whether or not it is time to bring in hospice— these aren't easy things to navigate alone. Knowing that we have a team of people who deeply care about each person we are privileged to serve, and work tirelessly to make each day less overwhelming than the day before, is a gift. Each day that I get to see God work through the mission of Wellspring is a gift. I am honored to serve at an organization that takes human care to the next level.”

Vice President, Chief Accounting Administrator & Chief Technology Officer

“In my role, I strategically manage and oversee back room functions that enable our staff go out and help people in the many services we offer.  My role lets me indirectly help people -- as opposed to helping a corporation make widgets. When I came to Wellspring in 1998, it became apparent during the first month that all of my experience and education to date was preparing me specifically for this position. Continued growth within the organization, along with advanced educational opportunities, built and strengthened my skillsets to be able to hold several different roles within the organization. It was in these varying capacities I was exposed to the actual work we do: changing lives. It gives me great satisfaction to know that God put me here for this purpose.”

Vice President, Program Development

“I’m blessed to be surrounded by creative, hard-working, caring colleagues with great ideas and passion to serve children and families.  I have the privilege in my role of helping develop some of these great ideas and bringing them into our work and organization more broadly. I have always loved being engaged in people’s lives with the intent/hope of being of help or service. The Wellspring mission to engage (walk alongside) people as they experience (discover) and embrace (adopt) their God-given potential resonates within my soul.”

TODD SEIBT

TODD SEIBT

Special Projects Director

“I think of ‘special projects’ as the Swiss Army knife -- or Leatherman multi-tool -- of Wellspring. My work is largely behind the scenes supporting our CEO and Wellspring colleagues across a very wide spectrum. It’s clear that God opened a door for me into Wellspring from the for-profit, secular world, and I jumped through. It's a perfect fit for my life-long Lutheran faith, and my varied skills and experiences, to help grow and serve His kingdom."
